Spring jewellery colours

Ok people, hands up who’s done with winter? Good news for all of you who put their hands up (and that includes me), because we are now officially in spring. Which means not only is it closer to summer, but that it’s time for new spring colours, fashion trends and accessories.

Time to put away those cosy wool jumpers and embrace the season of growth, new life and (hopefully) a tad more sunshine. And to help you make the transition, we’ve put together a roundup of the spring colours you should be wearing to help you step out in style this season. We've already covered green in our Green Goddess blog, but here are some more shades to look out for and add to your spring wardrobe.

Pretty in pastel pink

Pastel pink is a huge trend for spring 2023 and we are loving it. From pretty, stackable bracelets featuring pink gemstones like rose quartz from the likes of Annie Haak and Jersey Pearl.

To the attention-grabbing pink crystal combinations of Swarovski and Thomas Sabo. This warm and inviting shade looks equally beautiful accessorising jeans or floral dresses. Which is great when it comes to accessorising the unpredictable spring weather!

Blue beauties

Cobalt blue is another colour to look out for this season. Find shades of it in the beautifully crafted lapis gemstone jewellery of Sarah Alexander, Daisy London and Ania Haie. Alternatively explore the cut glass and crystal creations of Thomas Sabo and Shyla for those big-hitting, clear blues.

A rich shade of blue, cobalt in all its forms looks stunning alongside white, cream, silver and gold. Coeur de Lion have taken this idea and run with it. Combining all these in their signature geocube style into one collection, called Morning Dew, featuring cobalt and pale blue, white and rose pink.

Pops of creamy pearl

Everyone loves pearls right now. They’ve been a favourite of jewellery designers for a while and rather than showing any signs of fading away, they just seem to get bigger. We spotted giant pearls on several catwalk shows for this season, accessorising blouses and spring blazers alike.

If you’d like to find your perfect pearl accessory there are plenty of different styles to choose from. Shyla’s Hermania bracelet and Rochelle earrings for example, boast gorgeous giant pearls to die for. Jersey Pearl (who are obviously all over this trend), Sif Jakobs and Coeur de Lion have all gone one step further. Combining beautiful pearls with pink rose quartz and rosy champagne crystals for added on-trend magic.

Thomas Sabo meanwhile, has created a new way to wear the traditional pearl necklace, revamped and updated with charms

How to combine spring colour trends

Combine all the above to enhance your look. Gemstone bracelets in rose quartz and pearls, for instance, look fabulous stacked with cuff bangles. Choose show stopping statement chandelier earrings (also popular for spring) with pearls and pink crystals. While single stone necklaces or bracelets in the shades of the season look awesome stacked with other trending pieces.

And some designers have done the job for you. Combining cobalt blue and pastel pink with pearls and more for added joy. Find the colours you love and mix-and-match to your heart's content with the other shades of spring.
