Swimming pools and hot tubs contain chlorine, which can weaken and harm your crystal’s surface, reducing their shine. Similarly, the soaps and body care products often used in showering, bathing, and handwashing might cause irreversible damage to your Swarovski rings, so remove them and store them safely beforehand.
Swarovski rings are not made from Sterling Silver, so they won’t tarnish in the way that most silver jewellery does. The metal parts are mostly gold- and rhodium-tone plated, which gives a uniform highly shiny surface. However, you do still need to take care of your jewellery, store it properly and clean it regularly to maintain its sparkle and shine and avoid scratches, damage or build-up of dirt from regular wear.
